Your portfolio, every week

Every team you own, what it cost, what it is worth now — and the pot waiting at the end of the season.
The premise

What is Sharps?

It's fantasy football — flipped.

Instead of drafting players, you own entire college football programs. Every FBS team has a Market Value that rises and falls throughout the season based on the AP Poll and College Football Playoff rankings. Buy undervalued teams before they climb, sell high, negotiate trades with rival owners, or pick up unowned teams — outright at Market Value when they are available, by sealed bid when they are not.

Every transaction feeds the House Account, which becomes the playoff prize pool. When your teams advance through the College Football Playoff, they earn payouts from that pot.

It's part fantasy sports, part stock market, and all college football.

No players. No lineups. You own the teams.

How it works · one season

Four downs to a title

1

PreseasonBuild your portfolio

Owners take turns in a snake draft to build their portfolios. Every ranked team has a preseason Market Value based on the AP Poll, while all unranked teams are free to draft. Each owner can hold up to five teams at a time — or whatever limit their Commissioner set before the draft.

2

Every weekWork the market

Buy an available team outright at its Market Value — first owner to ask gets it — negotiate trades with rival owners, or sell ranked teams back to the House. A team that is off the board goes to a sealed bid instead, decided at the next market opening. Team values move with the polls, so the best owners act before everyone else sees the opportunity.

3

All seasonRide the rankings

As your teams climb the AP and CFP rankings, their Market Values rise with them. Spot a breakout team early and your portfolio gains value, flexibility, and trade leverage. Hold the wrong teams too long, and valuable roster spots can turn into dead weight.

When the regular season ends, the House Account locks and becomes the Prize Pool. Every playoff win earns a payout for that team's owner. Early-round wins collect a smaller share, while the national champion pays out 30% of the entire pool.

Blind Auctions

When a team is off the board — about to play, or priced by a poll that has not caught up — it goes to a sealed bid. Submit your best offer in secret; the highest bid wins, and ties go to the earliest submission.

Battles

When your team plays a rival owner's team, you are in a Battle — automatically. Both owners stake the same amount, raise it if you both agree, and the final score settles it.

Battle Boards

Every trade and battle has its own conversation thread. Negotiate deals, call your shots, celebrate wins, and keep the trash talk flowing all season long.

The House Account

Every auction, purchase, and transaction feeds the House Account. When the regular season ends, the account locks and becomes the season's Prize Pool — fully transparent from start to finish.

Trades

Trade teams, cash, or both with other owners. The other owner confirming is what makes it official — no commissioner approval, and nobody else to wait on.

The Draft Room

Kick off the season with a live snake draft — real-time team values, the board as it fills, and live portfolio tracking as every pick reshapes the market.
